If your child will be absent from school please let the school know as soon as possible.  This can be done in the following ways :

On the day absence, such as sickness: Call 01920 438271 option 1 to report the pupil absence using our automated telephone answering service.  All absences should be reported by 8.30am.

Absences for appointments or any other reason: Please complete and return the Absence Application form in advance and submit to the school office for the Headteacher's approval and recording in the attendance registers. 

The Absence Application form can be completed online and emailed through to admin@littlemunden.herts.sch.uk.

The letter from the Director of Education gives guidance regarding holiday absences from school. Supporting evidence for full day appointment absences, such as hospital letters, must be provided.

For appointment or other absences where your child will not be at morning registration, but will arrive at school before lunchtime, please complete the form with your child's chosen lunch choice for that day.  School provided lunches need to be ordered by 9.30am each day.
