An online system to check eligibility is available at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. If you qualify for the free childcare you will be given an 11 digit code. Please state this code on the nursery provision application form.
Parents/Carers are responsible for validating their 11 digit eligibility code every three months or as required. Failure to update your eligibility code may result in your child losing their 30 hour entitlement. You will still be eligible for the Universal 15 hours.
If a parents circumstances change or a parent/carer receives an ineligible decision on reconfirmation a grace period is available, the grace period depends on the date the parent/carer became ineligible. If this occurs, please contact the school office for further details.
Little Munden Nursery will require each parent/carer to sign a declaration form in order to process the funding claim, failure to sign the declaration or return it in time may result in your child losing their 30 hour entitlement. Information on the declaration will be shared with Herts County Council. A copy of your child’s birth certificate will need to be kept on file by Little Munden Nursery to claim the funding on your behalf.
